Welcome and thank you for visiting Sodium Design. My name is Nicholas Ault and I am an Architectural Designer and currently the Professor in Residence at the Clemson University Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy. I have previously held other positions at Clemson University, the University of North Carolina - Charlotte and Queens University, as well as positions at several small architectural firms across the country. The work represented in the following pages illustrates a sampling of teaching, research and design work executed by myself or students directly under my supervision. As I have spent the bulk of my career as an architectural educator the majority of the work represented herein is that articulated by my students both in studio as well as in required and seminar courses.

I would like to thank you for visiting the site and encourage to contact me directly with any questions that you may have.
